We are very excited about the "buzz" around the forums regarding Castle Rock. We were lucky actually because it seemed it was raining everywhere else in the State and Oregon, except Castle Rock. I do think that hurt us based on the full message machine from people asking if we were still racing because it was raining North, South and East of us. Numbers were down from last year but the event was a success. We hope for bigger and better next year. What would people think of a Series for the Western States, ie., perhaps, Rapid City Half Mile, Billings, MT half mile, Castle Rock Short Track, Lodi TT and Short Track and perhaps one or two others. I believe the West needs to start thinking of venues like this opposed to just being a West Coast swing for AMA. I believe we can give more money back to the riders this way. We could have our own "officials" that travelled to each track to help put the show on. I know Bob Hill and his crew did a great job here and he's from the West. I would love to hear from people regarding something like this. carolkell6@gmail.com

That sound like a great idea, I just hope that the AMA officials leave a block open in the schedule when they are planning next years races. They could make it difficult, hopfully with Mike Kidd running the show there will un biasd thoughts about Castle Rock. The history with AMA and the Rock has been a long and rocky road.
